Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Buyer for its Valley Green, PA location. You will quote, procure and support the mezzanine material pipeline while ensuring accurate vendor setup, PO creation, correct shipping methods, and timely payment processing.

You will collaborate with engineering to relay feedback to suppliers, participate in weekly meetings on tooling delivery and qualification status, manage intercompany POs, and oversee onsite

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in a Manufacturing Environment.
• Experience with Office packages management.
• Ability to work in dynamic team environment.
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Analytical capacity in problem solving.
• Understanding of AX Material Handling and system usage.

Responsibilities

• Quote, procure and Support Mezzanine Material Pipeline.
• Set up vendors and create purchase orders; ensure shipping is correct and supplier invoices are paid.
• Support the Supplier with documentation and testing requirements.
• Provide and follow up on feedback from Engineering to Supplier.
• Attend and report on weekly NPI/DEV/Transfer meetings for tooling delivery status.
• Create and Manage Intercompany purchase orders.
• Manage inventory of indirect supplies onsite.
• Work with Planning to ensure all demand is covered.
• Various other duties as required.

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEM's globally. Our global headquarters are located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales and manufacturing locations globally. Our team in Valley Green, PA is looking for a Buyer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Quote, procure and Support Mezzanine Material Pipeline.
• Understand and action Vendor Set up, Creating Purchase Orders, ensuring correct shipping method, making sure product is received and Supplier invoices are cleared to pay.
• Support the Supplier with documentation and testing requirements.
• Provide and follow up on feedback from Engineering to Supplier
• Attend and update weekly NPI/DEV/Transfer meetings on expected delivery and qualification status on new tooling.
• Create and Manage Intercompany purchase orders
• Manage inventory of indirect supplies onsite
• Work with Planning to ensure all demand is covered.
• Various other duties as required.
