Job summary

Amphenol Corporation in Valley Green, PA is seeking a Buyer to quote, procure and support mezzanine material, manage POs and vendor communications, and coordinate with planning to cover demand. The role requires manufacturing experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Office tools; familiarity with AX Material Handling is a plus.

You will support engineering with supplier documentation, participate in meetings, and handle intercompany purchase orders and indirect inventory onsite,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with MS Office and related packages.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiar with AX Material Handling system.

Responsibilities

• Quote, procure and support mezzanine material pipeline.
• Understand and action vendor set up, Creating Purchase Orders, ensuring correct shipping method, making sure product is received and supplier invoices are cleared to pay.
• Support the supplier with documentation and testing requirements.
• Provide and follow up on feedback from Engineering to Supplier.
• Attend and update weekly NPI/DEV/Transfer meetings on expected delivery and qualification status on new tooling.
• Create and Manage Intercompany purchase orders.
• Manage inventory of indirect supplies onsite.
• Work with Planning to ensure all demand is covered.
• Various other duties as required.
