Job summary

TLD is the largest global manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment in the aviation and aerospace industries, with nine worldwide facilities. The Strategic Buyer will drive strategic sourcing, optimize costs, and strengthen supplier relationships across the organization.

You will analyze markets, negotiate terms, and manage contracts while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
• CSCP/CPSM certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationship management.
• Experience with ERPs (Infor/Baan a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers, assess their capabilities, and evaluate market trends.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost‑effective supply chain.
• Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contractual agreements.
• Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with legal and business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in all procurement activities.
