Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services seeks a Lead Buyer to manage procurement and strategic sourcing for parts, equipment, materials, and services. You will lead sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and build strong supplier relationships to support cost reductions and availability.

As a senior member of Accounting and Finance, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast requirements, drive procurement governance, and deliver value across 227 locations and 27 countries.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in strategic sourcing and procurement is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to improve supplier performance and reduce total cost of ownership.
• Lead enterprise-level sourcing events, including RFQs and RFPs and supplier reviews.
• Negotiate complex supplier agreements, pricing, warranties, and service arrangements.
• Establish and manage strategic supplier partnerships and key vendor relationships.
• Analyze procurement spend, supplier performance, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Collaborate with operations and functional leaders to forecast requirements and develop sourcing solutions.
• Drive supplier performance management, KPI development, and continuous improvement.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, audit requirements, and procurement governance.
