CHENEGA BASE & LOGISTICS SERVICES, LLC at Ft Hood, TX is seeking a procurement professional to manage purchasing requisitions, issue purchase orders up to $100,000, and assess quotes to secure best value for government contracts.

You will establish sources, maintain contracts, negotiate pricing, and coordinate with Accounts Payable to ensure timely payment, while enforcing compliance with contract requirements and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration preferred, or four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Successfully pass background and drug screening

Responsibilities

• Manages purchasing requisitions for CBLS base operations at Ft. Hood.
• Issues and reviews purchase orders up to $100,000 without redelegation.
• Develop procurement strategy and negotiate pricing to obtain best value.
• Establishes sources and maintains contracts and procurement files.
• Coordinates with Accounts Payable for timely payment of invoices.
• Ensure compliance with government contracting legislation and codes of practice.
• Other duties as assigned
