Job summary

PS Seasoning, a four-generation family-owned business in Iron Ridge, WI, seeks a driven Buyer to join our Supply Chain team. You will source raw materials and manage supplier relationships to maintain uninterrupted supply.

Reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, you’ll shape cost management strategies and collaborate across functions while upholding GMP and food-safety standards for both manufacturing and customers. Experience with procurement, negotiations, and cost analysis preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, procurement, or food/spice industry preferred
• CSCP or CPM certifications a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects
• Ownership and accountability in results-driven environment

Responsibilities

• Purchase raw materials and commodities to maintain uninterrupted supply
• Lead initiatives to deliver materials on time, within scope and budget
• Develop and execute supplier negotiation strategies
• Analyze financials and total cost of ownership
• Review MRP decisions and coordinate with Accounting
• Collaborate with Quality on product claims and resolutions
• Maintain vendor/item records and ensure GMP/HACCP compliance
• Establish secondary sourcing for key ingredients
• Support onboarding of new suppliers and contracts
