We are seeking an individual who can maintain adequate inventory levels and who can ensure materials are available for operations while maintaining standards of quality in purchasing all materials as well as utilizing cost effective methods of delivery at all times. Will be responsible for supporting activities to ensure food safety, integrity, legality, quality, and authenticity.

Education / Experience

Required: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management or closely related field and 2-4 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing company.

Preferred: Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Operations, Supply Chain Management or closely related field. 5-7 years of experience buying or purchasing in a food processing or manufacturing capacity.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with co‑workers (orally and written).
  • Knowledgeable in computer applications and functions.
  • Able to work with information, which requires maintaining the highest degree of confidentiality.

  • Must be able to lift 20 lbs.
  • Answer and converse on the telephone.
  • Read forms, computer printouts, and enter data on computer screen.
  • Read numbers and do basic arithmetic calculations.
  • Read and write English at high school level.
