Job summary

Manitou Group is seeking a Procurement Specialist to manage supplier relationships and oversee ERP-driven sourcing activities in Yankton, SD. You will partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to ensure timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards.

The role emphasizes supplier evaluation, contract coordination, and routine procurement documentation. A Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is preferred, with 1–3 years of purchasing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or similar discipline preferred.
• Experience in purchasing practices and procedures (1–3 years).
• ERP systems familiarity and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier relationships to meet quality, price, and delivery requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers on quality, price, reliability, and total cost.
• Develop reliable sources of supply and optimize annual purchase agreements.
• Coordinate with Sourcing on standard purchase orders and contracts to balance cost and quality.
• Communicate across Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Shipping and other departments.
