Job summary

iManage is seeking a Commercial Counsel, Technology & Procurement to act as the dedicated legal resource for technology and procurement transactions. You will own the legal workstream for software, cloud infrastructure, AI tooling, data, and services acquisitions, negotiating from the buyer's perspective and building scalable playbooks.

You will report to the Associate General Counsel and collaborate with procurement, finance, engineering, security, product, and privacy to drive efficient

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar admission.
• 3–5 years in commercial legal work focused on technology procurement, vendor contracting, or buy-side transactions.
• Experience negotiating AI, SaaS, cloud/infrastructure, professional services, and data agreements from the buyer's side.
• Ability to manage a diverse, concurrent vendor contract pipeline independently.
• Knowledge of data privacy provisions in contracts and coordination with privacy teams.
• Strong relationship-building and business-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Owning the full lifecycle of technology and vendor contracts, including master agreements and renewals across AI, SaaS, cloud, services, and data agreements.
• Developing procurement legal playbooks, standard positions, templates, and escalation triggers.
• Partnering with finance, procurement, engineering, security, and product as a practical legal partner.
• Coordinating with privacy and security on data protection implications and approvals.
