Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and must be licensed in the jurisdiction where the position is located.
• Minimum combined ten (10) years of experience at a nationally recognized law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Proven record of drafting, negotiating, and reviewing technology contracts including SaaS licenses, data licenses, and on‑prem and cloud agreements.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory aspects impacting contracts, especially in financial services.
• Experience with data privacy, information security, and cross‑jurisdictional legal issues.

Responsibilities

• Support the Procurement and Technology team's efforts to accelerate AI adoption in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Advise business units on development, negotiation and support of technology contracts (SaaS, licenses, data licenses, cloud/on‑prem).
• Develop and update contract templates, playbooks, terms of use for enterprise-wide use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Privacy, Security, Risk, Tax) across jurisdictions.
• Lead negotiations around complex technology licenses and strategic transactions.
