Job summary

Montgomery County is seeking an experienced analyst to perform administrative, systems, statistical and business analyses supporting department operations. You may supervise, help develop goals, gather data, and prepare research and fiscal reports to improve economy and efficiency.

The role includes coordinating testing, supporting end users on software/tools, and analyzing data trends for workforce utilization and training plans. May assume related duties as required.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college with major coursework in business or public administration or a closely related field and two years of professional experience in administrative, management, systems, operations, budgetary or similar analyses.
• Must possess a valid United States driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data pertaining to trends, workforce utilization, staffing patterns and training.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor department programs and processes.
• Analyze organization and functioning of units, workflows, forms, records, and files.
• Support end users in learning equipment and software packages (word processing, spreadsheets, databases, intranet).
• Prepare technical reports and assist with presentations and correspondence.
