Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Business Management Manager 1 for Annapolis, MD, on-site with a 9/80 schedule. The role leads program financial activities within the Naval and Ocean Systems unit, spanning forecasting, EV reporting, budgeting, and cost control.

You will drive pricing support, proposals, and risk management, supervise a team of business management analysts, and ensure compliance with corporate policies. U.S. Citizenship and TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 5 years of industry related experience in finance, accounting, or program control OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
• Understanding of U.S. Government contracts, government Cost Accounting Standards, and the FAR
• Prior experience with government program budgeting and forecasting, as well as Annual Operating Plan development
• Prior people leadership experience
• Prior experience in proposal preparation and BOE preparation and evaluations
• Experience with Earned Value Management
• Experience with SAP

Responsibilities

• Lead and support program financial activities within the Naval and Ocean Systems Unit.
• Coordinate financial forecasting, Earned Value Management, and monthly reporting.
• Develop business strategy and forecasting through Long Range Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan.
• Support pricing and proposal activities from draft RFP to award, including reviews and negotiations.
• Manage risks with multiple contract types and ensure cost/schedule parameters are met.
• Ensure compliance with NGC policies and participate in internal/external audits.
