Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration with finance concentration.
• Comprehensive knowledge of the Business Insurance marketplace and products.
• Property & Casualty Solicitor's License for CA and valid CA driver's license.
• Proficient in MS Office and Internet; strong communication skills.
• Enrolled in MMA PEP Program and able to meet licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business to achieve sales goals with guidance from leadership.
• Research prospective clients evaluating financials, operations and risks.
• Assess viability of opportunities by studying broker relationships and services.
• Provide written prospect reports summarizing findings for decision makers.
• Attend industry seminars to build contacts and niche market opportunities.
• Follow a disciplined sales strategy aligned with the Business Insurance unit.
• Provide monthly production status reports on revenue and pipeline.
• Manage renewals and client service to achieve renewal goals.
• Coordinate underwriting discussions and ensure client needs are addressed.
• Assist with claims advocacy and maintain organized client files.
