Office Depot / ODP seeks a Business Development Manager in California to acquire net-new high-potential accounts and grow revenue in existing customers. You will network, cold-call, and travel within the territory to present ODP offerings and close contracts, while maintaining CRM data accurately and developing strategic selling plans.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a related field.
• Two or more years of B2B sales experience; 4 years preferred.
• Strong relationship building, negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to conduct consultative analysis and make recommendations.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
• Driven, deadline-focused and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• New Account Acquisition: solicit orders from new customers and build relationships with non-ODP decision influencers and buyers.
• Existing Account Penetration: grow share of wallet by selling more products to current customers.
• Servicing existing revenue: maintain and grow spend by providing service and support.
• Data integrity and CRM: maintain accurate customer data and support selling initiatives.
