PIC Wire & Cable, an Angelus Company, is seeking a Strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth at its headquarters in Waukesha, Wisconsin. The role interacts with the VP of Global Sales & Product Management and bridges strategy, technology, and business development across aerospace and defense markets.

Ideal candidates have aerospace/defense or interconnect experience, strong communication skills, and a solid business acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, business, or a related field.
• MBA preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in aerospace and defense or interconnect solutions market preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including presenting to executives.
• Strong business acumen, including market dynamics, competition, macroeconomic factors, financial analysis, risk, and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate organic growth, partnerships, licensing, and M&A alternatives to identify strongest paths for strategic opportunities.
• Scout emerging technologies and expand A&D market segments through events, consortiums, and market research.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product management to evaluate technologies and market opportunities.
• Support transition of approved proposals from Business Development to PMO or Executive Team for execution and commencement activities.
