Job summary

Trescal is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our calibration services footprint in regulated industries across the United States, including Life Sciences and Aerospace. You will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 17025, GMP, and GxP standards.

You will lead client engagements, manage RFQ/RFP processes, and collaborate with operations and quality teams to deliver high-quality services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
3+ years in business development or sales in calibration/metrology or related services.
Experience selling services to regulated industries (Life Sciences, Aerospace, pharma).
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance (ISO 17025, FDA, GMP).
Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Strategically grow Trescal's presence in Life Sciences, Aerospace, and regulated sectors.
Engage clients as trusted advisor on calibration and asset management solutions.
Develop and manage a regional sales pipeline in CRM.
Lead RFQ/RFP responses with cross-functional teams to meet client specs.
Oversee multi-site program implementations for new contracts.
Monitor market conditions and competitive activity for strategy input.
Collaborate with operations, quality, and project teams to ensure delivery.
Travel regularly across assigned region, including overnight stays.
