Job summary

Trescal Inc. is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand our calibration and asset-management services across regulated manufacturing sectors, including Life Sciences and Aerospace. You will identify and develop opportunities, lead RFQ/RFP activities, and ensure compliance with FDA, ISO 17025, GMP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, or related field; equivalent industry experience will be considered.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in business development or sales within calibration, metrology, testing, validation services, or related.
• Proven track record selling professional services into Life Sciences, Aerospace, or other regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GMP).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building with technical and quality stakeholders.
• Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and virtual collaboration platforms.
• Willingness to travel regularly throughout the assigned region, including overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Strategically grow Trescal’s presence by engaging clients and prospects in Life Sciences and Aerospace.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on calibration and asset management solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Lead RFQ and RFP responses with cross-functional teams to meet client specs.
• Manage rollout of new programs and multi-site service agreements across regions.
• Monitor market conditions and provide actionable insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and project teams to ensure high-quality, compliant service.
