Trescal Inc, a world leader in calibration services, seeks a Business Development Manager to expand our presence in Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Aerospace. You will identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities, while ensuring compliance with FDA, ISO 17025, GMP, and GxP standards across regulated sectors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in business development or sales within calibration, metrology, testing, validation services, or related instrumentation.
• Proven track record of selling professional services into manufacturing and process industries including Life Sciences or other regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, regulatory compliance, and documentation standards (ISO 17025, ISO 9001, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, GMP).
• Willingness to travel regionally including overnight stays.

Responsabilités

• Strategic Growth: Proactively engage clients to develop new opportunities across assigned regions in Life Sciences, Aerospace, and regulated sectors.
• Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor on calibration and asset management solutions meeting regulatory requirements.
• Opportunity Management: Develop and manage a pipeline in the CRM to move prospects from contact to closure.
• RFQ / RFP Leadership: Lead RFQ/RFP responses with operations and quality teams to meet client specs.
• Contract Implementation: Manage rollout of new programs and multi-site service agreements for Life Sciences and Aerospace clients.
• Market Intelligence: Monitor market conditions and provide insights to Regional Sales Director and VP of Sales.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with lab ops, quality, and project management for compliant service delivery.
• Compliance Awareness: Demonstrate working knowledge of FDA, ISO, cGMP/GxP frameworks and calibration processes.
