Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Network Solutions IPA (NSIPA) is seeking a Strategic Business Development professional to lead our expansion into new provider partnerships, payer relationships, and care delivery opportunities across New York and surrounding regions. This is a high-impact, growth-focused role for someone who thrives at the intersection of healthcare strategy, relationship building, and execution.

NSIPA is a rapidly growing Independent Practice Association with a network of 600+ physicians committed to value-based care, care coordination, and clinical quality. We partner with major payers and work closely with hospitals and community providers to support independent practices and improve outcomes for patients.

Responsibilities

  • Market Expansion: Identify and pursue strategic opportunities for NSIPA to grow its network—whether through new provider partnerships, collaborations with hospitals, payers, or community-based organizations.
  • Provider Growth Strategy: Build and maintain a pipeline of independent physician groups, behavioral health providers, and ancillary service partners. Lead outreach, presentations, and contracting discussions.
  • Relationship Management: Develop strong, trusted relationships with provider stakeholders (owners, medical directors, administrators), acting as a strategic advisor on joining NSIPA and navigating value-based care.
  • New Program Development: Support initiatives around new service lines or contracts (e.g., ACOs, payer collaborations, or managed care models).
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Work closely with clinical operations, care management, analytics, and executive leadership to align business development efforts with organizational goals.

Skills

  • Proven success in business development, strategic partnerships, or network growth—healthcare experience strongly preferred (IPA, MSO, health plan, ACO, or hospital system).
  • Skilled communicator with excellent interpersonal skills—you know how to build rapport with providers and turn conversations into partnerships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect dots, identify win-win opportunities, and move quickly from ideas to execution.
  • Comfortable navigating complex healthcare environments—provider incentives, managed care contracts, Medicare/Medicaid, or value-based care.
  • Self-starter, energetic, and relationship-driven.
  • Based in the tri-state area and willing to travel to meetings or events (this role is external-facing and requires mobility).
