Job summary

Zions Bank in Kaysville seeks an experienced Business Banking Portfolio Manager (Assistant Relationship Manager) to support Relationship Managers and grow a portfolio of roughly $100 million in loan balances and $180 million in deposits. You will help with underwriting, closing, and covenant management while enabling RMs to focus on sales efforts.

The role emphasizes thorough credit analysis, client interviews, and cross-selling bank products to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business or related field and 1+ years of banking/credit experience.
• Knowledge of banking services, lending, credit analysis and portfolio management.
• Ability to grow loans and client relationships, cross-sell bank products.
• Ability to structure loans and monitor credit performance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency with standard software (word processing, spreadsheets).

Responsibilities

• Manage and service a diverse commercial loan portfolio with sound credit practices and exceptional client service.
• Conduct credit investigations, analyze financial statements, assess risks, structure and price loans.
• Generate new business via referrals and internal networks; interview clients and make informed credit decisions.
• Cross-sell a broad range of bank products and support portfolio growth through relationship development.
