Job summary

Empire Merchants is seeking a Business Analyst to turn data into actionable decisions by analyzing sales, census, pricing, and industry data. The role involves developing sales templates, reporting, data extraction, and presenting insights to management to drive profitable programs and performance.

You will collaborate with purchasing, marketing, and finance to forecast demand, manage pricing, and support supplier partnerships while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience required.
• Ability to hold a Solicitor’s Permit required (where applicable).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a motor vehicle (where applicable).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate steps in setting up new Brands/SKUs including gathering & disseminating pricing and profitability information.
• Work with Statewide Business Director on annual plan/calendar, pricing plan, promotional calendar and sales incentives.
• Forecast inventory and ensure appropriate levels by collaborating with purchasing; obtain ETAs from suppliers; attend monthly Sales & Operations Calls.
