Job summary

Global Information Technology is seeking a Business Analyst to support DOJ modernization initiatives in Salem, OR. Hybrid contract work involves gathering requirements, building process maps, and detailing user stories and SOPs.

You will translate business needs for stakeholders, develop test plans, and support implementation and training efforts across multiple teams. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
Experience creating process maps, user stories, business rules, SOPs, and functional documentation.
Experience with UAT testing, test case preparation, and validation.
Strong communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Experience working with relational or cloud-based data platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for DOJ modernization initiatives.
Conduct interviews, workshops, and reviews to understand business needs.
Translate requirements into process diagrams, user stories, and functional specs.
Create and maintain current/future-state process maps and SOPs.
Prepare UAT test cases and participate in testing; document results and issues.
Support implementation activities and end-user training materials.
Assist with change management, workshops, and stakeholder alignment.
Collaborate with program staff, technical teams, and vendors.
