Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Analyst to support large child welfare system modernization initiatives by translating program and policy needs into clear business requirements and project deliverables.

You will work with client leadership, program staff, technical teams, vendors, and PMO resources to validate workflows, identify gaps, and promote alignment between objectives and system functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Experience with government health and human services programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver consulting project activities for various projects.
• Analyze complex data and identify patterns, recommend actions, and measure outcomes.
• Coordinate with technical staff to understand business requirements, specifications, and processes.
• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, reporting, interface, data, and operational requirements for modernization workstreams.
• Prepare clear, accurate, and client-ready documentation, status updates, meeting notes, and deliverables.
