Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Business Analyst to support child welfare system modernization, translating policy and stakeholder needs into clear requirements and specifications. You will validate workflows, document processes, and ensure alignment with federal and state requirements.

The role collaborates with client leadership, technical teams, vendors, and PMO resources to drive requirements traceability, gap analysis, and implementation readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or system modernization.
• Experience documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.

Responsibilities

• Translate program, policy, and stakeholder needs into clear business requirements.
• Create system functional specifications from requirements and document current/future-state processes.
• Facilitate sessions with staff, vendors, and project leadership to gather and validate requirements.
