Job summary

The State of Montana Department of Administration is seeking a Long-Range Building Program Coordinator in Helena. The role combines data and systems administration, planning, and project management to support facility planning across Montana.

You’ll coordinate FCAs, manage facility data, and assist with six-year capital planning while collaborating with agencies, campuses, consultants, and stakeholders. Training on systems will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Engineering, Construction Management, PM or related field.
  • Two years of applicable experience.
  • Alternate combinations of education and experience considered case-by-case.
  • Experience with facility data systems, GIS, ArcGIS, Archibus or similar tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with facility condition assessments and index interpretation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate statewide facility condition assessment activities and consultant work.
  • Maintain facility inventory and assessment data systems with quality and reporting.
  • Gather and track facility information from agencies, campuses, and consultants.
  • Support LRBP by managing project requests and six-year capital plan info.
  • Assist with LRBP submissions, agency portal entries, and publications.
  • Support capital development studies, including scope, schedule, budget, and documentation.
  • Support the State’s energy program through consultant coordination and documentation.
