Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks an Executive Director Budget, Strategy and Risk Management to lead the district's annual budget, long-term financial strategy, internal audits, and risk mitigation. This role oversees budget development, policy adherence, and cross-department coordination.

The candidate will manage complex financial forecasts, coordinate capital planning, and ensure alignment with district goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be eligible for a Georgia Educator's Certificate in Educational Leadership and/or Support Personnel License.
• Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred.
• 7 years of managerial experience with budget, strategy and risk management.
• Experience with budget preparation, audit and long-range financial planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership of the annual budget and long-term financial strategy.
• Direct internal audit program and risk management functions.
• Oversee district-wide budgeting with compliance to reporting requirements.
• Develop cost controls and budget processes across departments.
• Coordinate with HR on staffing and resource allocation.
• Supply financial analysis to district leaders for strategic decisions.
