The ideal candidate has a strong background in public sector finance, GAAP, and team leadership, with experience in budget control, risk management, and working with diverse stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site role within a large school system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Master's degree in related field preferred.
• Georgia Educators Certificate in Educational Leadership or Support Personnel License required or eligible.
• 7 years of managerial experience.
• Experience with annual budget prep and long-term planning.
• Public sector financial management experience in PeopleSoft preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and oversight of the district annual budget.
• Direct long-term financial strategy and comprehensive internal audit program.
• Oversee the district's risk assessment and management.
• Develop budgets and monitor budgetary controls.
• Coordinate with county government on local revenue budgets.
• Lead district-wide risk assessment and reporting.
