Job summary

V2X, a provider of strategic solutions, is seeking a Plans and Budget Officer to support sponsor budgets, develop spend plans, and reconcile expenditures against forecasts.

You will draft annual budgets, prepare documentation for exercises, and coordinate budget taskings, while producing analyses to resolve resource and budget issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, along with strong writing and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Experience as a plans and budget officer; manage resource requirements.
• Ability to analyze financial data and propose solutions.
• Experience in budget development and execution processes.
• Excellent writing and oral communication skills.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Draft, formulate, and justify annual budget build; prepare supporting documentation for budget exercises, over-guidance, unfunded calls, and reprogramming; coordinate budget requirements and taskings.
• Create and maintain short- and long-term financial trend analyses; research and provide proposed solutions to resolve resource and budget issues; prepare briefings and spend plans.
