Job summary

City of Largo is seeking a Performance & Budget Manager to oversee the City's Budget and Capital Improvement Program. The role drives strategic resource alignment, financial planning, and performance management while engaging team members in fiscal decision-making.

The incumbent reports to the Performance & Budget Director and guides analysts, interns, and staff, ensuring compliance with TRIM and related policies in a high-performance organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• 7+ years of budget and performance analysis experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory or project management experience preferred.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification.
• Valid Florida Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present the City Budget, Budget Amendments, and Capital Improvement Program to the City Commission.
• Lead performance management, metrics development, data governance, and reporting processes.
• Coordinate annual budget direction with the City’s strategic plan and performance goals.
• Respond to questions from the City Commission, advisory boards, and the public.
• Develop and update departmental policies and standard operating procedures.
