Qualifications

• Requires two years of experience in budget management, auditing, government accounting, general finance operations or closely related experience.

Responsabilités

• Assist in the development of the county’s annual budget.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual Budget Book for submission to the Government Finance Officers Association for the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award.
• Assist in the review of budget submissions for completeness and accuracy.
• Assist in the preparation of budget amendments.
• Assist in the review of departmental contracts.
• Assist in the analysis of accounts for budgetary purposes.
• Assist in the preparation of financial and statistical reports.
• Assist with updating position control schedules and salary worksheets.
• Assist with preparing backup documentation for audits.
• Research historical budget data to assist with trend comparisons.
