Job summary

Youth Advocate Programs, Inc. is seeking a Budget Coordinator to lead cross-functional fiscal initiatives across a national nonprofit.

You will liaise between the Budget Team and Development, Program Operations, Contracts, and field leaders to align timelines, budgets, and compliance milestones. The role emphasizes documentation, project tracking, and timely reporting, with a focus on grant compliance, financial operations, and coordinating dispersed teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fiscal coordination, budgeting, project management, or nonprofit financial operations.
• Experience with grant-funded programs and cross-functional project oversight preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• Knowledge of using various database type systems is helpful
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organization skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional fiscal initiatives across a national nonprofit.
• Serve as liaison between Budget Team and Development, Program Operations, Contracts, and field leaders.
• Ensure alignment of timelines, budget deliverables, and compliance milestones.

• Support field leaders in meeting programmatic and fiscal goals.
