Job summary

HELP USA is seeking a Senior Budget Analyst to support budget preparation, modification, and dissemination to sites and governmental funders. The role translates complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders and ensures timely, accurate budget input into the accounting system.

With five years of budget experience and a focus on government contracts, you will collaborate with the Director of Budgets and Revenue teams to maximize funder budgets and maintain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in budget preparation and analysis.
• Knowledge in fiscal management for government contracts and agency funding.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing, modifying, and disseminating budgets to sites and funders.
• Translate financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Input budget information into the accounting system accurately and timely.
• Align funder budgets with internal templates for understandability and efficiency.
• Manage annual line-item budgets with the Program team and modify as needed.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly budget reviews and present findings.
• Maintain complete budget files and HRIS employee allocations alignment.
