Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience examining budgets to ensure compliance with state rules.
• Ability to forecast budgets and expenditures.
• Familiarity with federal and state reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Examine budgets and expenditures for compliance with state budget rules and laws.
• Provide consultation and coordination in the preparation and execution of budgets with multiple funding sources.
• Complete or evaluate methodologies used in budget/spending forecasts to improve projections.
• Evaluate fiscal impact of program changes and ensure compliance with state/federal requirements.
• Coordinate and prepare legislatively required reports to meet requirements.
• Identify risks in budget/program activities and present solutions to management.
• Support related accounting functions and debt issuance processes.
