Job summary

State of North Carolina - Adult Correction is seeking an Administrative Specialist I (S) to perform fiscal and budgetary functions across the Community Supervision division. Responsibilities include purchasing, fixed assets, fleet management, telecommunications, and MIS security.

You will process transactions and reconcile accounts in NCFS and NC Procurement while maintaining data integrity. The ideal candidate has strong numeric and analytical skills, can work independently, and maintain

Qualifications

• General knowledge of purchasing and accounting practices.
• Demonstrated experience in fiscal, budget, and financial transaction management.
• Working knowledge of purchasing, fixed asset management, fleet operations, and/or lease administration.

Responsibilities

• Verify financial documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare reports as needed.
• Review and approve transactions following policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with agency personnel and the public.
