Job summary

Amcor LLC in Evansville, IN seeks a Director of Supply Chain Management to lead the BU's end-to-end supply chain, aligning with AFCD BG objectives and corporate policy. You will drive strategy, S&OP, and cost-saving initiatives while building high-performing teams across functions.

The role requires 10+ years in supply chain with 5+ in leadership, expertise in ERP/WMS/TMS, and a proven track record in digital transformation and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Business Admin, Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in supply chain with at least 5 in leadership.
• Experience developing and executing BU-level supply chain strategies.
• Strong end-to-end supply chain knowledge incl. procurement, logistics, inventory, demand planning.
• Proven leadership and ability to influence across functions.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, and TMS; digital transformation.
• Excellent analytics, problem-solving, and PM skills.
• Collaborative, results-oriented in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the supply chain strategy for the BU in alignment with AFCD BG objectives and corporate policies.
• Oversee demand planning, inventory management, and supply planning within the BU to ensure optimal supply chain performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of supply chain professionals within the BU, building capability and driving engagement.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for all supply chain functions, implementing corrective actions where necessary.
• Lead and own the S&OP process within the BU, working collaboratively across commercial, operations, product line management, procurement, R&D, and finance teams.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement new technologies, systems, and process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Develop and manage the BU supply chain budget, driving cost savings and value creation.
• Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure supply continuity.
