Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee planning for all product lines at the plant, directing logistics, procurement and inventory control. You will align production schedules with capacity plans, manage warehouses, and drive continuous improvement across supply chain functions to meet customer expectations.

You will lead a team, optimize material flow, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure safe, efficient operations consistent with Amcor’s standards and values.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field.
• 8–10 years in supply chain, production planning, and materials management in manufacturing.
• APICS/CSCMP or equivalent certification preferred.
• Proficient SAP and Microsoft Office experience.
• Familiarity with production scheduling and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes and costs.

Responsibilities

• Oversees planning for all product segments within the plant and manages internal and external warehouses.
• Directs production scheduling to meet customer requirements and capacity targets.
• Manages logistics including carrier partnerships and incident notifications.
• Leads warehouse optimization and material control practices.
• Ensures on-time delivery by managing raw material consumption and procurement.
• Implements best practices in scheduling, inventory and warehouse management.
• Drives performance improvements in plant operations and reduces lead times.
• Manages talent development, mentoring and performance of direct reports.
