Job summary

Florida Gulf Coast University is seeking a Traffic Manager to oversee the accurate scheduling, maintenance, and reconciliation of daily television broadcast logs, coordinating with Sales, Programming, Operations and Master Control to ensure promotional and program elements air as planned.

You will develop grids and long-range schedules, verify logs for compliance with FCC rules, and troubleshoot issues under pressure while collaborating across departments to support stations and platforms.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma and 2 years of related full-time experience.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Broadcasting, or related field.
• Experience with broadcast traffic, scheduling, and FCC compliance is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and maintain daily television broadcast logs.
• Review logs for accuracy and resolve discrepancies with master control.
• Monitor commercial inventory and ensure scheduling meets advertiser and station requirements.
• Coordinate with Master Control and content departments to ensure delivery of scheduled media.
• Develop and maintain program grids and long-range scheduling.
