Qualifications

  • High school diploma and two years of full-time related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in communications, broadcasting, or related field.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule and maintain daily television broadcast logs.
  • Review logs for accuracy and program elements; resolve discrepancies with master control.
  • Monitor commercial inventory and ensure advertiser and station requirements are met.
  • Ensure compliance with FCC requirements and station policies.
  • Coordinate with Master Control and content department to ensure delivery of scheduled media.
  • Maintain program information, rights, availability, and scheduling records.
  • Develop and maintain program grids and long-range schedules.
  • Assist with updating the station's website, EPG, and streaming services.
  • Diagnose and resolve internal and external technical problems.
