Job summary

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in biotech/pharma finance, CPA preferred, and strong ERP experience. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on financial execution in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. CPA strongly preferred.
• Experience with milestone accounting, project-based financials, and contract review.
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP, revenue recognition, and cost accounting principles.
• ERP systems experience (QAD, SAP, NetSuite, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes with accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee preparation of financial statements, variance analyses, and reporting packages for executives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
• Manage revenue recognition for CDMO contracts including milestone payments.
• Collaborate with BD and PM to ensure contracts are accurately reported.
• Monitor deferred revenue, WIP, and client-related costs.
• Oversee cost accounting for GMP and non-GMP operations, including batch costing.
• Drive system enhancements to streamline reporting and integration with PM tools.
• Mentor accounting team and collaborate cross-functionally for financial clarity.
