Job summary

Biocytogen Boston Corp is seeking a strategic Business Development leader to drive external opportunities in licensing and co-development. You will lead compelling business cases, coordinate cross-functional due diligence, and manage alliances with R&D, Regulatory, and Finance teams.

The role requires a Ph.D. in a biomedical field, deep antibody discovery expertise, and strong storytelling to translate biology into licensing value.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in pharmacology, immunology, cancer biology, or a related biomedical science field.
• Strong background in antibody drug discovery and hit-to-lead optimization.
• Ability to interpret complex biological data (affinity, specificity, in vivo efficacy) and translate into therapeutic and licensing narratives.
• Familiarity with antibody modalities (mAbs, bispecifics, ADCs).
• Strategic thinking to align platform capabilities with partner pipeline gaps.

Responsibilities

• Establish external opportunities for out-licensing, co-development, and structured transactions.
• Lead development and presentation of business cases with robust analyses, assumptions and risks.
• Initiate and lead external opportunities with limited supervision.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence and alliance management across R&D, CMC, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, Finance and reporting; may be main BD contact.
• Support BD operations including proposals, TS developments, negotiations, deal closure and alliance management.
• Contribute to BD/licensing strategy aligned with corporate portfolio.
• Represent Biocytogen at industry conferences and manage relationships with pharma/biotech partners.
