The role supports patients by ensuring accurate billing, assists with ambulance and external hospital billing, and collaborates with UR, clinical teams, and patient financial services to streamline processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of medical billing, accounts receivable, or related experience.
• Experience with foundation and grant billing preferred.
• Proficient in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Generate accurate invoices for services rendered to client organizations.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and manage collections.
• Maintain relationships with client organizations and coordinate with internal departments.
• Prepare reports on billing and collections for management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and billing regulations.
