Job summary

Kipu Health is seeking a highly motivated Billing & Collections Manager to lead the combined Billing and Collections teams. This role owns full-cycle billing operations end to end, driving down DSO and ensuring SLA adherence while coordinating with Customer Success and other partner teams.

You will oversee system tooling including BillingPlatform and NetSuite Zone Billing, resolve complex billing issues, and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in billing, accounts receivable, or collections with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience improving DSO and billing outcomes in a full-cycle environment.
• Knowledge of billing procedures and debt collection regulations (FDCPA).
• Hands-on experience with BillingPlatform and NetSuite Zone Billing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the Billing and Collections teams with coaching and performance management.
• Own full-cycle collections and billing, driving proactive outreach to customers.
• Improve DSO through strategy, targets, and aging balance prioritization.
• Ensure SLA adherence and timely resolution of disputes and inquiries.
• Act as liaison with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations on billing issues.
• Lead process improvements across billing workflows and document SOPs.
• Support implementation of new billing systems and tools.
• Fully own BillingPlatform and NetSuite Zone Billing configurations and troubleshooting.
• Develop knowledge of customer contracts and services billed for accurate invoicing.
• Reconcile accounts, review aging, and identify recovery opportunities.
• Run reports on collections performance, aging, and team productivity.
• Recruit and train Billing/Collections staff and manage workload.
