Job summary

Kipu Health, LLC is seeking a Billing & Collections Manager to lead our combined Billing and Collections teams. You will own end-to-end billing operations, drive down DSO, and serve as the escalation point for complex issues.

You will coordinate with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations, improving processes and ensuring accurate invoicing and timely collections. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits in a fast-paced healthcare tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in billing, accounts receivable, or collections with 2+ years in supervision.
• Proven success reducing DSO and improving collections outcomes.
• Familiarity with BillingPlatform and NetSuite Zone Billing.
• Experience with debt collection regulations (e.g., FDCPA).
• Strong Excel and reporting skills.
• Able to interpret complex customer contracts and billing arrangements.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Billing and Collections teams and provide day-to-day leadership.
• Own full-cycle billing and collections, managing outreach and escalations.
• Drive DSO improvement by setting strategies and targets.
• Ensure SLA adherence across Billing and Collections.
• Collaborate with Customer Success, Sales, and Operations.
• Lead process improvements and document standard operating procedures.
• Support billing system improvements and new tool evaluations.
• Own and troubleshoot BillingPlatform and NetSuite Zone Billing.
• Review customer contracts to ensure accurate billing.
• Report KPIs and performance metrics to leadership.
• Recruit, train, and develop staff across both teams.
