Job summary

Trustpoint.One is seeking a Senior Manager – Billing & Collections to lead the firm’s billing operations and collections strategy from Hartford, CT. This role collaborates with attorneys, managers, and finance professionals to implement practical solutions to complex billing issues.

You will oversee LEDES/e-billing, unbilled time, and outstanding invoices; manage the Billing and Collections team; and partner with attorneys on client budgets and creative billing solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Extensive experience in financial management, billing, and collections.
• Prior law firm experience is required.
• Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines while maintaining strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee firm-wide billing activities, including standard billing, LEDES/e-billing, unbilled time, and invoices.
• Lead and manage the Billing and Collections team.
• Partner with attorneys on client budgets and creative billing solutions.
• Drive consistency and standardization across billing and collections.
• Oversee firm-wide collections strategy and execution.
• Develop, forecast, and analyze billing and collections reports.
• Monitor industry trends and best practices in the revenue cycle.
• Review and manage client billing, collections, and data requests.
• Train attorneys and staff on billing procedures and changes.
• Partner with Finance & Accounting leadership on initiatives.
• Oversee billing and collections technology and opportunities to automate.
