Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners is seeking a Business/Data Analyst to blend data expertise with technical problem solving. You will create Power BI dashboards, write SQL, and support key business decisions through analytics.

You will build automations with Python/JavaScript, test data quality, and collaborate with product, development, and GIS teams while documenting work for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of data analysis, systems analysis, BI, or application support.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and relational databases.
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or APIs.
• Strong communication skills working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Write SQL queries to analyze, validate, and integrate data.
• Support business decisions through data and operational analysis.
• Build scripts and automations using Python, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs.
• Test systems and validate data quality (QA).
• Identify opportunities to improve data, reporting, and processes.
• Maintain existing dashboards, integrations, and automation tools.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, GIS staff, and other stakeholders.
• Document technical work and support training/knowledge-sharing.
