Job summary

Motion Recruitment Partners LLC is seeking a Business Analyst - Data Analyst in Lawrenceville, GA to combine data skills with practical problem solving. You will work closely with business and technical teams to support data-driven decisions.

You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, write SQL queries, and support data quality, automation, and reporting improvements in a collaborative environment with product owners, developers, GIS staff, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years in data analysis, systems analysis, BI, or application support.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, SQL, and relational databases.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports (Power Query, DAX, data modeling)
• Write SQL queries to analyze, validate, and integrate data
• Support business decisions through data and operational analysis
• Build scripts, tools, and automations using Python, JavaScript, SQL, and APIs
• Test systems and validate data quality (QA)
• Spot opportunities to improve data, reporting, and processes
• Maintain existing dashboards, integrations, and automation tools
• Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, developers, GIS staff, and other stakeholders
• Document technical work and support training/knowledge-sharing
