Job summary

The City of Henderson seeks a Benefits and Well-Being Manager to lead strategic employee benefits and wellness initiatives within the Department of Human Resources. You will supervise professional staff and serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, shaping comprehensive benefit strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required in HR or related field.
• Five years of professional experience administering employee benefits or related HR functions, including at least two years in supervision.
• Equivalent combination of related education, experience, and training may be considered.
• Desirable: CEBS certification through IFEBP.
• Desirable: SHRM, HRCI or PSHRA certifications.
• Desirable: Experience with financial modeling and analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for comprehensive employee benefits and well-being programs.
• Supervise professional staff and act as advisor to executive leadership.
