Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. seeks a Sr Manager of Benefits & Payroll to design, administer, and govern benefits and multi-state payroll programs in Torrance, CA.

Reporting to the CFO and collaborating with the Chief People Officer and senior leaders, this role blends strategic oversight with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, data-driven, and capable of presenting to executives while improving processes, audits, and vendor management to ensure exceptional employee

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related field.
• 8+ years in benefits, payroll, total rewards, or HR leadership.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and 401(k) administration.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, administration, and optimization of benefit programs.
• Direct all payroll operations for a multi-state workforce.
• Partner with senior leadership on analyses, reporting, and cost management.
• Ensure ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA compliance and audits.
