Job summary

Rancho Health is seeking a Benefits Manager to lead the administration of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement programs. You will partner with Payroll, brokers, and carriers to optimize plan design, costs, and compliance while improving the employee experience.

The role requires 5+ years of benefits experience, strong analytical and vendor-management skills, and proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive employee benefits experience, including health and welfare benefits.
• Experience leading Open Enrollment, broker/vendor relationships, benefits compliance activities, reconciliations, and complex benefit issue resolution.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now; 401(k) administration and healthcare organizations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day administration of medical, dental, vision, life, disability, voluntary, and retirement programs.
• Act as benefits SME and primary escalation point for complex eligibility and plan issues; drive resolution.
• Establish and maintain benefits processes, calendars, controls, and documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Guide employees and HR on plan provisions and enrollment requirements; oversee employee benefits communications.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within benefits administration; recommend practical solutions.
• Lead the 401(k) plan operations with the recordkeeper and service providers.
• Oversee eligibility, data reconciliation, annual census, compliance testing, and Form 5500 prep.
• Coordinate complex retirement plan issues with HR leadership as needed.
• Support retirement plan changes, acquisitions, and participant communications.
• Oversee vendor invoice reconciliation, eligibility audits, and data integrity across HRIS.
• Analyze discrepancies and root causes; coordinate corrective actions with Payroll and brokers.
• Monitor benefit data feeds and system integrations; establish timely error controls.
• Develop benefits metrics, reports, and audit processes for accuracy and cost awareness.
• Lead relationships with brokers, carriers, and retirement providers; manage escalations.
• Collaborate on renewal analyses and vendor evaluations; implement approved changes.
• Oversee configuration/testing in ADP and vendor systems; manage enrollment workflows.
