The role includes guiding new hires through benefit selections, managing open enrollment, handling payroll deductions, 403(b) matching, and coordinating wellness initiatives, with emphasis on accuracy and service.

Qualifications

• Education requirements as listed.
• Associates degree or higher in business, HR Administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Align daily benefit operations with division goals.
• Serve as a first-level escalation resource for HR Specialists and Representatives.
• Guide new hires through benefit selections and system setups.
• Calculate quarterly 403(b) matches, process seniority dates, and assist with retirement audits.
• Perform biweekly payroll deduction reconciliations and benefits file management.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors for system implementations and integrations.
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and staff communications (monthly newsletter, intranet updates).
• Coordinate wellness initiatives, health screening events, and EAP program promotions.
• Ensure COBRA, HIPAA, ERISA, FMLA compliance and update policies as needed.
